S4 ADDITIONAL MATH MID-YEAR INTENSIVE REVISION

The S4 ADDITIONAL MATH Mid-Year Intensive Revision (MYIR) is a 4-Sunday intensive revision programme conducted during the April to May period every year to prepare S4 students to excel in their mid-year exams, as these students normally neither have the time, the discipline nor the strategies to prepare for these exams by themselves.

Dates:  12/4, 19/4, 26/4 and 3/5 (four 2 hr sessions)

Time: 11.30 am – 1.30 pm

Location:   Blk 644, Bukit Batok Central, #01-68. S(650644).

(Our location is just a 3-min walk from either the Bukit Batok MRT station or the Bukit Batok Bus Interchange. Buses that stop along the roads surrounding our location are numbers 157, 178, 66, 506, 173, 174, 176, 187, 985. Buses services which terminate at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange are 61, 77, 106, 173, 177, 189, 852, 941, 945, 947)

  1. To revise Sec 3 topics.
  2. To revise all the KEY FORMULAE & GRAPHS
  3. To revisit all the KEY CONCEPTS
  4. To learn how to solve POPULAR DIFFICULT A. MATH QUESTIONS

Topics:

12/4- Indices, Surds & Logarithms, Binomial Theorem

19/4 – Polynomials & Roots of Equations

26/4 – Trigonometric Identities & Equations

3/5 – Coordinate Geometry, Circles & Linear Law

 

Focus: CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING

Format: Teaching + Worksheets + Discussions

Total Fee: $240 (inclusive of materials)

Tutor:  Mr Muhammad Ilyasa (M.Ed., PGDE, B.Sc, Ex-MOE Teacher, Full-Time Tutor of ‘O’ and ‘A’ level Physics & Math since 2004).

(Mr Ilyasa has been coaching students in Secondary & JC Math for more than 10 years. An alumnus of RI and RJC, Mr Ilyasa holds both a Master of Education degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with Credit from the National Institute of Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore)
