This talk is aimed at parents of current P6 students who will be receiving their PSLE results soon and who will be assisting their children to choose a secondary school that is best for their child. It is also aimed at parents who have the following questions:
(1) How to use MOE’s School Information Service and how to view a school’s MEDIAN PSLE score in 2015?
(2) How to ensure that my child does well in English, Math and Science in Sec 1 and 2?
(3) Any other questions pertaining to Sec 2 Streaming, Sec 3 Subject Combination, O-Level exams, IP and IB.

About the Speaker:
An NIE-trained ex-secondary school teacher, Mr Muhammad Ilyasa has been coaching students in A–Level & IB Physics and Mathematics for more than 7 years, as well as O-Level & IP Physics, Additional Math, E. Math and PSLE Math for more than 10 years. He has taught students from a variety of secondary schools and streams – “Neighbourhood”, Normal Academic / Technical, Express, Autonomous, SAP, Independent, Integrated Programme, IGCSE, pre-IB as well as Specialised schools such as the SSS, SOTA, SST and NUS High. An alumnus of RI and RJC, Mr Ilyasa holds a Master of Education degree from the National Institute of Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore. Married to a junior college teacher, he has three daughters, two of whom are in secondary school and the third will be doing her PSLE next year.
