We have been tutoring IP students from NJC, TJC, VS, RI, RGS, HCI, NYGH, RVHS , DHS and many others in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Science since 2007.
If your child is currently struggling in his/her math or science studies, we recommend 1-1 tuition as the best way for him/her to get back on track.
Our group tuition is mainly for short-term courses, such as Revision, Re-Learning, Bridging or Learn Ahead. However, for long-term weekly tuition, we allow students to form their own groups with students from their own schools and level as IP schools do not have a common curriculum.

TRIAL LESSON (1.5 hrs, in-centre or online)
Costs of a one-off 1.5-hr trial lesson for Y1-Y4 is $120 (1-1) or $90 (group). Trial class timings will be arranged based on our discretion and assessment of your child’s needs.
A trial lesson serves as a diagnostics for your child, by looking into his/her previous schoolwork, exam papers, as well as watching how they respond to the lecture and tutorial content.
If your child continues to sign up with us, the cost of the trial lesson will be deducted from your first month’s fee, thus making it a FREE TRIAL LESSON.

BACKGROUND OF TUTORS:
Mr Ilyas: An NIE-trained Teacher, Mr Ilyas has been coaching students in IP Math, IP Physics and IP Chemistry for more than 10 years. An alumnus of Raffles Institution, Mr Ilyas holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the NUS as well as a Master of Education (Curriculum & Teaching) degree from the National Institute of Education. Mr Ilyas’ thinking and metacognitive approaches to problem solving has helped many students of varying abilities to excel in Math and the Sciences. He has coached students from many different schools and streams, including IP, SAP, and IB.
Ms Tang: Ms Tang graduated from NTU with a B.Eng in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She has been teaching students in O level and IP Chemistry, Physics and Biology, as well as International school students in IGCSE and IB Math and Sciences since 2009. An effective and caring tutor, she uses analogies and diagrams to explain and classify things for easier memorization; identifying and correcting students’ misconceptions and assumptions, understanding what students are confused about, and helping them to see where they have gone wrong. Ms Tang has helped many students achieve their desired results.
Syllabus guideline for IP Y1 – Y2 Science
As there are already many sources of knowledge widely available from school, commercially or online, such as lecture notes, cheat sheets and even videos, our focus is on METACOGNITIVE THINKING SKILLS. An IP student must not just have knowledge and thinking skills; to stay ahead of his peers, he must also possess efficient study skills and metacognitive awareness of what he has learnt.
