PARTNERSHIPS

If you are a private school or private study group with no science lab, or you are a tutor who needs a science lab, you can collaborate with us to provide regular or ad hoc science practical sessions for your students.

If you are a private school with many science students of different levels and subjects, you may also outsource your science practical programme to us, including topical training (which we can plan together), practical tests, revision sessions, prelim exam, and mock exams.

 

General Guidelines for a simple science practical programme (details may vary according to your school’s needs):

A-LEVEL (H2/ CIE/ EDEXCEL) PRACTICAL TRAINING:

  1. Each session is 2.0 hrs.
  2. 1 long experiment per session by topic (eg titration or oscillation or enzymes or  1 long past exam paper qn).
  3. Each lab session can seat up to 10 students max.
  4. The practical worksheet will be supplied us, matching as closely as possible the topic you want.
  5. Most of the practicals should be done between Nov to July.
  6. Fee per student per session: $160 (if 5 students or more ), $190 (if 2 to 4 students), $380 (if 1 student only)

A-LEVEL H2 PRACTICALS

CIE A-LEVEL PRACTICALS

 

O-LEVEL / GCSE / SEC 3 PRACTICAL TRAINING (Pure or Combined Science):

  1. Each session is 1.5 hrs.
  2. 1 long experiment per session by topic (eg. titration or pendulum or enzymes or 1 long past exam paper question (45 min or 50 min long)).
  3. Each lab session can seat up to 10 students.
  4. The practical worksheet will be supplied by us, matching as closely as possible the topic you want.
  5. Most of the practicals should be done between Nov to July.
  6. Fee per student per session: $100 (if 5 students or more), $120 (if 2 to 4 students), $240 (if 1 student only)

SEC 3 PRACTICALS

SEC 1 – SEC 2 SCIENCE PRACTICAL TRAINING:

  1. Each session is 1.5 hrs.
  2. Each session covers the practical sections (plus some theory) of one chapter of the Lower Sec Science Activity books.
  3. Each lab session can seat up to 10 students.
  4. Available only from Nov to June.
  5. Fee per student per session: $75 (if 5 students or more), $90 (if 2 to 4 students), $150 (if 1 student only)
