JC 1 / A LEVEL H1 / H2 MATH GRAPHING INTENSIVE RELEARNING & REVISION JUNE 2018

Many JC students lack confidence in graphing/sketching questions. They waste
more than 15 minutes sketching a curve and might still get it wrong. Some students do not understand the order of transformation and scaling.

This course will allow you to master graphing techniques and sketching, and effectively score full marks for this segment in your promotional exams or A-levels. There will be a strong focus on transformation and scaling equations, and graphs such as the negative, modulo and reciprocal graph.

By the end of this class, you will learn how to:

-Spot common graphing trends and problems

-Understand the significance of restricting domain and range in graphing

-Effectively utilize your graphic calculator to sketch complex graphs

-Confidently and correctly sketch difficult graphs such as reciprocal, modulo and y-squared graphs in under 10minutes

-Systematically perform transformation of graphs without error

Duration: 3 weeks, 2h each

Dates: Every Wednesday 6 June. 13 June and 20 June

Time: 1030 am – 1230 pm

Location: Blk 644, Bukit Batok Central, #01-68. S(650644).
