OUR TUTORS

Mr Li: Mr Li graduated from Hwa Chong Institution, where he scored four H2 As and H3 distinction in Physics. In the National University of Singapore, he majored in Physics and Mathematics, graduating with a B.Sc. with first class honours. He is passionate about teaching, especially in physics and mathematics. As someone who is familiar with both the IP and O/A-level system, he is able to help students from either stream. Furthermore, being active in physics research first as a Master of Science student and now a Ph.D candidate, he is able to help students who want to further their studies in the physical sciences, in addition to pursuing better results at school.

Ms Tang: Ms Tang graduated from NTU with a B.Eng in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She has been teaching students in Math, Science, Biology and Chemistry since 2009. An effective and caring tutor, she uses analogies and diagrams to explain and classify things for easier memorization; identifying and correcting students’ misconceptions and assumptions, understanding what students are confused about, and helping them to see where they have gone wrong. Ms Tang has helped many students achieve their desired results.

(A) 1-1 Individual Tuition (in-centre, ad hoc or regular)

Features: Maximum attention, can ask about school work.

Subjects offered: Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Duration: 2h

Days & Times: Weekday mornings or evenings, Weekend mornings, Weekend evenings (to be negotiated)

Fees: $120 per hr.

(B) Own Group Tuition (in-centre, ad hoc or regular)

Features: Students form their own group (min 2, max 4), common topics and questions for whole group.

Subjects offered: Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Duration: 2h

Days & Times: Weekday mornings or evenings, Weekend mornings, Weekend evenings (to be negotiated)

Fees: $70 per hr per student.
